Aerstop NBR

A synthetic elastomer is used whenever industrial gaskets and profiles featuring high fluid sealing capabilities are required. In this butadiene-acrylonitrile (ACN) copolymer, the ACN content can range from 18% to 50%. The higher the ACN content, the greater the resistance to oils and petroleum-derived hydrocarbons. Certain degrees of NBR vulcanizates are employed whenever rubber items with high resistance to gasoline and mineral oils are needed.
​ NBR also features high compression set resistance (compression deflection) and tear strength. Its temperature resistance ranges from -40,0 to +203°F (continuous) and intermittent +248°F.

NBR. Density 363.76 lb/ft3. Shock absorber that resists low temperatures and is ideal for inserts in protective clothing.

NBR. Density 286.60 lb/ft3. Excellent resistance to oils and hydrocarbons.
